Our Mission Statement

The Seena Magowitz Foundation is committed to advancing awareness, early detection, and the eventual prevention and cure of pancreatic cancer. It is dedicated to primarily funding GlobalCure, a top scientific medical alliance on the leading edge of translational pancreatic research, focused on early diagnosis, and the rapid development of new treatments with the ultimate goal of eradicating pancreatic cancer.

Specific Foundation Objectives

• Ensure that 100% of net funds raised are allocated to the mission without administrative or brick and mortar overhead. The entire staff of the Foundation is comprised of unpaid volunteers. This makes the Seena Magowitz Foundation unique among most other charitable organizations.
• Accomplish the mission in honor of Seena Magowitz and the thousands that lost the battle against pancreatic cancer.
• Unite a grass-roots effort to expand awareness of cancer of pancreas through a synergy of dedicated advocates.
• Allocate 100% of funds to GlobalCure for clinical trials, development of therapies and the tools to help accomplish its objectives.
