The Face & Voice of
Pancreatic Cancer
EXCITING BREAKING NEWS
The Translational Genomics Research Institute has announced it is seeking 34 pancreatic-cancer patients at four sites around the country to participate in clinical trials that officials hope will bring them closer to a cure. The trial is named Seena I, in honor of Seena Magowitz, a patient who died of pancreatic cancer in 2001. Her son, Roger Magowitz, donated $1,000,000 to the trial and has encouraged many of his business contacts in the mattress industry to support pancreatic-cancer research, TGen said. Mattress Firm Foundation, in partnership with Simmons Bedding Co., earlier this year raised more than $400,000 to support clinical trials.
Heightening The Voice
A particular objective of the foundation is heightening awareness and understanding of pancreatic cancer as well as providing connections to support groups for patients, family and their friends that are touched by this dreadful disease. Pancreatic Cancer has the lowest survival rates of all cancer types, yet its research is the least funded.
Help Us Get There
We accept the challenge. Our objective is enlarging a donor base that shares our relentless and passionate pursuit of research that will extend patient life and ultimately find a cure of pancreatic cancer. You have confidence in knowing that all donations are never diluted with administrative compensation or brick and mortar overhead. The Seena Magowitz Foundation is a 501c (3) non-profit organization. The Federal Tax ID Number is 20-4751072.

Thanks To Everyone Who Supports
Pancreatic Cancer Research
Your generosity is what fuels medical research. We applaud TGen and Dr. Daniel Von Hoff, his entire staff and network of physicians and clinical researchers who work so hard to one day beating this disease. This crusade will not end until we find a cure. Looking forward to seeing many of you at the Celebrity Golf Classic, December 2-3 at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. I promise a great time.
