Hope & Inspiration

Heroes. Fighters. Survivors. And Advocates
Doing something greater together than we can alone. Today, the odds of surviving pancreatic cancer are grim. It has the lowest survival rate of any other type of cancer. But there is hope. Everyday, we discover patients that have overcome the odds. Their courageous fights, positive attitudes and willingness to tell their stories give others even greater hope.
Scientists and physicians like Dr.Daniel Von Hoff work tirelessly
day and night researching early detection methods. life extending
treatments and an eventual cure of this dreadful killer. Long time
survivors like Howard Young prove that pancreatic cancer does
not always mean an automatic death sentence and gives patients
all over the world renewed inspiration. People like Jai Pausch who
as a single-mother gives every ounce of energy bringing optimism
to so many, carrying the advocate torch of her late husband
Randy Pausch who made the now famous "Last Lecture" speech
at Carnegie Mellon University.
Together. We can inspire. Instill hope. Tell us your story. As a survivor that encourages others. As family and friends of loved ones that lost a courageous battle. Advocates that can motivate, compel and give comforting outreach. Post your story at our Facebook Page or send us your story.
